A little bit

About us

At UX Fika, we help designers, product teams, and leaders build the skills they need to communicate clearly, collaborate better, and create meaningful products and services in the age of AI.

Through bite-sized, practical classes, workshops, coaching, and community, we focus on the human side of UX, product design, and AI, equipping you with the strategic, storytelling, and presentation skills that are becoming essential to future-proof your career and thrive in the next chapter of work.

'Fika' is a Swedish word. It's a bit of a thing here & for us.

It means to have a break over something to eat and/ or drink. Usually it’s a cup of coffee accompanied by something sweet but it can be any drink and light bite. More than anything, it’s about taking some time out with friends, family, or colleagues, and in many Swedish workplaces fika is scheduled into the day.

UX Fika is about

Bite sized learning in inspirational places & online

Going for a fika is a bit of a treat. That’s how we want UX fika to feel too. It’s work but at the same time it’s not. It’s UX Fika.

We know the practical limitations of everyday (work) life. That’s why all of our offerings are bite-sized. That way you can fit it into your day and you’ll keep coming back. And that matters because that’s how progress is made.

What UX Fika offers

At UX Fika, we provide classes, coaching, mentoring, events, and custom training in UX, Product, Service Design, AI, storytelling, and presentation skills. Our goal is quite simply to help you build the skills you need in the age of AI, and support you along the way through our community.

UX Fika meet ups

Join our monthly online or in person UX Fika meet ups. Each one has a theme, and of course a fika element to it. Stay tuned, they'll be back for autumn.

The UX Fika Podcast

A weekly show where Anna chats to friends from the UX, tech, and conference scene and gets to know them at a deeper level than what group dinners and chats at conferences usually allow. You can find the UX Fika podcast where you normally listen.

The UX Fika Community

Welcome To The Fika Room

In a time of slop, having a trusted circle matters more than ever. That’s why we’re starting the Fika Room. A safe and trusted space, free from bots and the bias of click-bait hungry algorithms. Our goal is to support you, wherever you are in your journey. And to build the skills and connections that are needed in this new phase of design. We hope to see you there.
